Windshield fixed. Yeah! Now I find that my windshield wiper container is cracked. The mechanic said it could happen in the cold if I had let the container go empty. So the stars aligned and I let the container go empty just when the temperature was cold enough.

So now did I not only lose a lot of food to the  storm/power outage but also the windshield, the windshield wiper fluid container,  and my favorite cobalt blue water pitcher that I have had for 20 years.

So I’m not saying that the winter of  09-10 kicked my butt but, buuuuuut it is still making itself known. I will persevere.
