Life, the Universe and Everything.
I love to write. I love to share stories and have people find pleasure in the reading. I’ve taken writing classes and workshops but never really stuck with it. I would become discourage and let other people’s negativity infect me. But I don’t do that anymore (I try not to anyway) and when my neice created this blog for me I found the perfect venue for my writing. I put it out into the cyberworld and sometimes people even read it.
I’m 50. I have some health problems that I am trying to resolve. I have some financial woes that I am trying to work out – but today who doesn’t. I have a wonderful job that I find very fullfilling and I love going to work in the morning.
My family consists of a 6yr old mutt and a skinny kitty who’s 2 1/2 that make me very loved but right now the cat’s eating habits are a concern and the vet and I are trying to figure that out.
My hobbies are bird watching, movies and reading. I have terrible sleeping habits which lead to writing on my blog, emails or in facebook in the wee hours of the morning. I like the solitude of 2 in the AM but having a 9-5 job means 2am on Sunday mornings are all that I see.
I had written an “about me” last year and eloquently wrote about why I called my page life the universe and everything but I erased it by mistake. It has to do with my sister, the Dr. Who fan, or is it Hitchhiker’s guide to the universe? She likes them both. She would say that phrase and it stuck in my head. She is my favorite human, and I name this for her. I hope that I can do all she knows that I can.
Oh yeah – I know this appears twice and I don’t know why and neither does my neice, so, you know, we must live with imperfection. yes?
